Unlike pressed or milled alternatives, each feldspathic veneer is built up entirely by hand, layer by layer, in a specialist ceramics laboratory.
The result is a restoration with optical properties — light transmission, internal depth, surface texture — that no other veneer material can replicate. Light enters the feldspathic porcelain, scatters internally, and exits in precisely the way it does through natural enamel. Under any lighting condition, the result is indistinguishable from a real tooth.

Feldspathic porcelain is hand-layered by a ceramist and offers superior translucency — it more closely mimics natural enamel optically. E-Max (lithium disilicate) is stronger and better for masking dark staining, but slightly less translucent. Both are excellent materials for different clinical situations.
